Prime Math was born out of a vision in October 2023, building on over two years of teaching math at local libraries. What began as Math Club—a program designed to foster out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving—has evolved with the mission to reach a broader audience and cultivate essential STEM skills.

Our focus is on sparking creativity and innovative problem-solving through engaging activities such as games (e.g., Nim), puzzles (e.g., arranging five apples in two rows of three), illusions (e.g., Escher’s works), and live demonstrations (e.g., illustrating exponential growth by folding a piece of paper multiple times). We create tailored curricula inspired by complex and multifaceted topics typically overlooked in K-12 education.

Prime Math’s goal is to instill confidence in students, empowering them to trust their own creativity and develop leadership qualities by solving challenges in new and imaginative ways. We aim to equip the next generation with the tools to think critically and lead boldly.
